As you’ve probably already read in some interview, I’ve worked at the big C for over 6 years. From 10 hour translation sessions at major events, to testing games for errors, and finally producing a major title. It’s certainly had its ups and downs but now my first major packaged title is hitting the US stores.
Sometimes it seems surreal that a country boy from Ohio would end up producing a title like this in a Japanese company. Other times, it all seems like a blur. But the one thing that goes without saying is that after everything is said and done, it’s always been great to have such a great group of fans.
The scores for the game have hit high and low like I expected. I’d imagine even the original game would have gotten some low scores as well for being too hard. But, they are roughly equivalent to what Lost Planet got (although the PS3 and Xbox scores are reversed) and I think that was a far underrated game when it came out.
So now that it’s all over, let’s have a little fun. I’ve started a thread in the forums here listing some of the “achievements” that we’ve accomplished over the last few years. For those of you who aren’t playing Bionic Commando already, feel free to join the thread and add some of your own achievements (or achievement you think we should add to our list of accomplishments)
The rest of you had better get out there and get swinging! It's the Summer... what else do you have to do!
Ben

even if i happen to dislike the game (which i doubt i will hate it)
my 60 dollars is more of a thank you for everything you guys have done in support of the game doing the podcasts, talking with the fans, and as support to help fund the hopefully next game .i always see the first game as the "building block" one this is the one where you wanted to get the core mechanics nailed get the universe established to gamers get spencer as a recognizable character you know make sure everything is polished and works
i believe all of the big trump cards that will make people go "Holy S@#$" will be in the 2nd game if consumers give you a chance
hope for the best i hope you guys at least have 2 more top secrets one dealing with the aftermath of bc and 1 last farewell one
Congrats
Great job Ben and the guys at Grin. I spent all day scouring the interwebs looking for scores and i'm very satisfied with what people had to say. No where did i hear that it was too hard because of poor game design. Every one of them said it was hard, because they sucked, and if they got better, the game got easier. Thanks for making this last year and a half worth the wait.
The Wait Is Over, but....!!!!
Despite the reviews on IGN.com giving Bionic Commando a score of 8.0, I'm still going to pick up this game today. This is an original update to the classic NES title, and the Bionic Arm seems new and improved, and I'll be spending the first quarter of my summer playing this one!!!I have it in my hand right now!!!
The title says it all.thank you
hey ben,i just wanted to say thank you. i got my copy of b.c. today. and it's amazing so far. and i'm sure it's just going to get better. you rock.

Ben, I checked various website and no one has answered what the "Purple Matrix" is. Can you please shed some light on what it is in Bionic Commando?Capcom = satisfaction
Everything I expected from a Capcom game!!! I don't understand why this game is getting such bad reviews. I'm around 50% through and it has only been absolute AWESOME!!! It's like people haven't played a game by Capcom or something. Yeah it's gonna be hard get over it, you want open world go play GTA! stop complaining.I just want to say "Thank you!" to Grin and Capcom. Over the last couple years, my favorite games have been brought to me by Capcom. I play many games and Capcom never seems to disappoint me like most other publishers/developers do *cough* "SQUARE-ENIX!!"
You guys deserve a medal :)
A job well done!
Hey Ben,I wanted to congratulate you, Grin, and the rest of Capcom on a job well done. You guys delivered a great game with all the trimmings! I sincerely hope that BC launches your career into a direction that keeps you producing this caliber of game for years to come. Salute!

Thanks for everything!
I bought the game today but sadly haven't had the chance to play it yet. From what I've read and seen though, I have no doubt it will be an enjoyable experience. Thank you everyone for all your hard work on the game and on the podcast. I wish you all the best of luck in the future and for BC3D to be a huge hit! You show em Ben!Now I'll just have to play some Punch-Out! until I get my PS3 back and then it's swingin' tajm.
Great job everyone
Thanks for making a great game and bringing back to life one of an old gamers favorite games of days gone by, now bring back Legendary Wings!!I want to play BC now :(
Too bad I can't because it's not available in Mexico. We already have Infamous, Terminator Salvation and stuff, but Bionic Commando is nowhere to be found! What's going on, guys? You have to press Capcom so they send some copies over here, please :( I really want to play it and I've been searching for days, and nothing. I know I have to wait some days after the US launch, but Infamous is already here (I must say I could care less about Infamous, but you get my point; it was released today, as far as I know...)Thanks Ben and the gang
Sorry this is so late, but you know.. I've been busy. The ROCKS. I love it. Love the swing and the achievements. I hope you've already started on the sequel as well as the Free DLC maps and secret bonus level. Also could you add a "no radiaion" mode so you can really get swinging? Thanks from a french fan
This game is clearly the game I've been waiting for all my life, it's perfect and something is telling me that you will even push it further for the sequel. So thanks again for this great game which to my personnal opinion is way better than lots of other games currently on the market which still got better reviews (unfair).
