Reflections on a CommandoVote Now!

This Sunday (or perhaps Monday), the fine men of the Player One Podcast will be airing a podcast with a special "Game Club" segment dedicated to Bionic Commando. These segments are usually dedicated to the memories each of the hosts had about the original game, but one of the coolest things they do is to allow fans to call in and discuss some of their own memories about the game in question.

Thanks for the plug, Ben! We finished recording the new episode today (a bit of an early recording session this week), so unless something dreadful happens, it should definitely be up sometime Sunday night.

Lots of BC love in this upcoming episode (it's episode 80). We were very pleased.

No worries guys. Anyone who recognizes the greatness that is Bionic Commando has all my support! As I've said before, so far the BC games have never turned a solid profit so we'll need all the support we can get! Let's spread that BC love and of course the 2D retro love.

Love your podcast and the fact that you guys allow people to call in. Very cool.

Player One Podcast episode 80 is live

Just to let all you BC fans know, our very special Bionic Commando episode of the Player One Podcast is now live.

At around the 52 minute mark, we briefly discuss a mention of a Bionic Commando (and Splatterhouse) remake in EGM's Quartermann section from a few years ago. Perpare to be shocked as we reveal Quartermann's source for this rumor from back in the day.

We get into the NES Bionic Commando discussion at roughly the 56 minute mark. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the terrific phone calls that we got. We certainly did.

Phil,

Thanks for allowing us to speak our nostalgic minds on the show. It was great. Without a doubt my favorite part was the mention about the book. I knew about it, but man is that some cheesy stuff! Seriously though, great podcast. Consider me a fan.

Thanks for the laugh and support. Come back after we release Rearmed and let me know what you think. As one retro fan to another I am curious what you think.
