If you’ve been here for a while, you probably already know that Bionic Commando takes place amongst the crumbling skyscrapers of the FSA’s Ascension City – or rather, what’s left of Ascension City, after that explosion did a number on it at the start of the announcement trailer (go here and scroll to the right if you somehow missed it).
What you probably don’t know are things like what Ascension City looks like, where it’s situated, and whether Spencer will forever be swinging through downtown and the park, or venture into, say, the red light district for, er… survivors.
That’s why we’ve created the Ascension City Recon page, where you can explore the areas we’ve announced so far, find out what you'll be doing there, and get some clues regarding the areas we’ll be revealing over the coming weeks and months.
And speaking of which, our agents in the field tell us that you might be seeing some new areas of Bionic Commando before too long. The only thing we can tell you now is, if they look as good as the areas we’ve seen so far (and they do), they’ll be bee-you-tea-full.
