Default Slowdown Fix for those with SLI

Changing my SLI performance mode settings from "Force split-frame rendering" to "Force alternate frame rendering 1 or 2" has lead to an huge increase in fps,
and fixed the slo-motion problem for me.

If you are unsure of how to do this;

In the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to "Advanced Settings" -> "Manage 3D Settings".

Select the "Program Settings" tab, and choose "Add".

Select the game executable bcr.exe and click "Open"
(bcr.exe is generaly located in "C:\Program files\Capcom\Bionic Commando Rearmed\")

Now, back at the "Manage 3D Settings" window, select bcr.exe from the list of programs.

Finally, in the list below, scroll down to "SLI performance mode" and choose "Force alternate frame rendering 1" or 2

Hope this helps.

Sounds like a good little catch there, getting a speed boost through changing some settings, but do you think you could do us a tiny little favor and post your full computer specs, so we actually know what setup you were on when you experienced speed issues?

Sure thing,

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2200 Mhz
Asus A8N - SLI SE (Nforce4 chipset)
NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT x 2
2 Gig DDR-SDRAM

Directx 9.0c

Currently running it at 1440 x 900 nice and smooth, guessing roughly 30-40 fps

Ah, so you are on a dual card setup (duh, ofcourse you are! Or else SLI wouldn't be there, but I guess if SLI was somehow active on a system with only one card... problems guaranteed!)

But yeah, nice to know incase someone else pops in with oddities and has a dual card setup.
(Although I guess most users with a setup featuring 2 cards would be familiar with the possibilities of SLI/CrossFire compatibility issues)

Odd that you'd get such a performance boost, though.
I wonder why... (CPU + Card 1 PhysX + Card 2 Graphics?)

Thanks for posting your specs and solution/fix, by the way
