Well, not Silver then... The guy with the eye patch thing, and the sniper rifle.. And also the guy who came through on radio communication once... I musta got the names mixed up

The sniper is in the credits, listed as ____ "sniper" _____, has anyone grabbed that name yet to see if it was a character from the comic?

The sniper is Thomas Clarke, a character from MERCs.

Why he decided to show up in this game I do not know.

I noticed something else too:

The main storyline of MERCS detailed their work as a hired covert anti-terrorist unit. They may be using this to build a more intricate "shadow history" backstory in the style of games like Metal Gear Solid. The part regarding the arm's catalyst certainly reminded me of that.

Additionally, the first Buraq helicopter vehicle fight reminded me a LOT of the one from MERCS level 1. I didn't purchase MERCS3 on Xbox Live, so there may be other small easter egg things between that and BC I missed out on.
