[BC] Green Matrix??

I was exploring the area where you first get the Hiker, and I came across a green door that said 'You need the Green Matrix' Does anyone know about this?

Yeah, it means you need to beat an area or a boss to get the proper matrix (or key) to open that door. You'll wind up running into that door again later in the game.

Yeah I found that out after doing a search on Matrix here in the forum, problem is I cant seem to get past [spoiler] the Shield Biomech in the first Trent Industrial District area [/spoiler]

We've just been abusing "black font" for spoiler tags here

Anyway, the shielded biomechs are easy;
Just get close to them so they smack their shields into the ground (or deploy them, if you want)

Then either just run around them or jump over them, then place your arm on the panel on their back and zip kick~

Hahahaha, I cheesed him out by spam firing my pistol aimed at the right angle (First weapon upgrade pays off, got 63 max)! Finally got him, and the GM after a few more game overs. When I got killed by the Polycraft in TID3, thats when I called it quits for the night LOL
