Default Desktop Backgrounds

This thread is for everyone who is proud of their desktop background to post em...

Here's mine, I made it about 1 or 2 years ago.

http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f2...htsidecopy.jpg

(Lol I posted it, but it broke the table so I'm gonna link it instead)

I guess I'll link this, it's the first background I ever personally made... Before you look at this one realize it must have been like 8 years ago when I made this, and I was feeling like being ultra-insensitive. It's not funny so don't laugh.....actually I'm not gonna post it.

I don't necessarily make my own desktop but I do enjoy skinning my desktop.
My friend made both the wallpaper and the Objectdock icons I use. I downloaded a patch somewhere on the internets and got a theme thats gives my PC that Apple-ish look that I so enjoy.

here's mine. It's of The Rangerstrike card game and it's the game's rendition of Super Gekiranger Red.

I love the Rangers Strike artwork. Cool to see another Super Sentai fan too!

You too could use it, I suppose! It's formatted for my widescreen machine at work but could work on anything else. I made it myself by basically rebuilding the logo in Illustrator. Now I have a vector version that can be scaled and manipulated in any way.

@ AC9Breaker

Lol, your background makes me laugh especially since the open window in the middle of the screen only seems to frame in and showcase the cleavage of the... absolute perfection. I actually started computing on a Macintosh and eventually bought a pc pretty much 100% for gaming purposes, I do miss the old Mac days though /sigh.

@ Rammykun

That ranger-strike background is really cool looking I really like the up and diagonal method of shading, it makes it look amazing. I've never heard of the card game before, is it basically like magic?? Lol, I pretty much suck a those card games simply because it's all in what you put in your deck at the beginning and i'm just not as creative and strategic as the people Ive faced. I actually took second place in a magic tournament once, it was the first and last tournament I ever took place in lol...

Ohh ya it also looks like you are running vista, with of course "STEAM" on your desktop ftw. Does vista run well? I've been afraid to make the upgrade from XP because I don't want my comp crashing a lot, Also the idea of losing the ability to play some of the games I like is discouraging.

Also sporting Vista and... I've definately had it crashing a lot less than XP ever did. Also depends largely on the games of your choise if you wouldn't be able to play them, but I wouldn't think that'd be an issue.

As long as your hardware is all compatible you shouldn't have a problem (I myself lost a scanner in the process).

I'd post my desktop, but the background picture being at 12,3 megs and 3600 x 1200 pixels it might be a tad much.

I woun't know. The Art looks really cool though. Check out these statues based on some of the drawings in the game:

personally, I want the MagiRed and the Sun Vulcan one myself.

I have the Dekaranger Robo one (chrome version), it looks awesome in person. Really wanted to get the MagiRed one too, looks so badass.

Hyakitaki: Rangers Strike is a CCG, sorta kinda like Magic, yeah. It's a spinoff of sorts of the Kamen Rider card game, and it's based on the Super Sentai series (the original version of Power Rangers). The game is only available in Japan, and in Japanese, so you might have a difficult time finding both cards and people to play with.
