Bionic Commando

As spotted by forum moderator Carnivol, G4TV's X-Play has announced their list of nominees for the Best of 2008 Awards to be held this Thursday, December 9th. And looking down the list, we were able to find one familiar face in the category of Best New Downloadable Game(*).

Yes, Bionic Commando Rearmed is up for the nod, but it will face stiff competition. The full list of nominees is as follows:

• Geometry Wars 2

• Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty

• Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix

• World of Goo

If only this was the kind of awards show where fans vote, we'd be encouraging you to spam them back in the 1990s. Unfortunately, all we can do is await the results with baited breath. Go, go, bionic!

(* = by our reckoning, at least two of those titles including Rearmed are not strictly "new").
